Lawyers belonging to Michael Douglas and his former wife of 23 years have taken to court over a demand for 50% of the earnings he will make from the Wall Street sequel. When the couple split and divorced in 2000 Diandra Douglas was granted a share of the proceeds from his work while they were together.

Mean Girls Lindsay Lohan has been released after two weeks into a 90 day sentence. It only seems like yesterday that she was sent down and during that time of her incarceration Toy Story 3 got a well deserved 10/10 and Inception blew our minds.

Lindsay Lohan Sentenced To Prison
The troubled Mean Girls actress Lindsay Lohan has been sentenced to 90 days jail time for violation of her probation, specifically missing some alcohol programmes as part of her sentence for a drink driving incident.
She is no stranger to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood as this is the facility that she has previously spent time in, all 84 minutes of it! However, this time around with the 90 day sentence she is likely to serve 23 days. This is due to overcrowding.
TV Cancellations and a Heroes Movie
It was announced this week that NBC will be cancelling the TV show Heroes. In order to placate the large fan base they have said that they are not ruling out the release of a movie to tidy up all the loose ends.
This is a format that would benefit a great deal of other cancelled shows.
So far other cancellations announced this week include FlashForward, Law & Order, Mercy, Trauma and it would seem that Chuck has made it through for a further 13 episodes.
It seems that a total cull has happened.
Dexter star is cured of cancer
A while back we reported that Michael C. Hall had been receiving treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma. We have just heard that the treatment was a success and that the star of Dexter has recovered and that the cancer has gone.
His wife, Jennifer Carpenter said that he was "incredibly brave" when he publicly announced in January that he was undergoing treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer that attacks the lymph nodes.
Production Suspended On New Bond Movie
The filming of the latest Bond movie has been suspended indefinitely due to the uncertain future of MGM Studios.
This was due to the be the 23rd outing by the super spy in the longest running movie franchise of all time.
Hangover 2 is Approved for Go!
A follow up to the hilarious The Hangover has been approved after a long negotiation with all parties. Deadline are reporting some further details surrounding the financials, it looks like the stars will be on a minimum $5M payday and this time around the director will be taking a larger slice at around $10M plus bonuses.
