"...The Herpes Thing..." A COMEDY ABOUT A DRAMA, is a film in which the use of color, music and surreal images, versus real moments, play a huge part in moving and telling the story. It offers a unique escape capturing the very personal relationship between two people. "...The Herpes Thing..." encapsulates every day life, magnifying the experience with strong character development and dialog in this non-formulaic telling of a very universal tale. It is much like Neil LaBute's THE SHAPE OF THINGS, in that life, dialog, simple conversation, like art, is up for interpretation.

Synopsis
"...I Think You Went a Little Far with the Herpes Thing..." A COMEDY ABOUT A DRAMA, is a contemporary tale about a woman who deals creatively with heartbreak. Sweetly seductive Tweety, curator at a local gallery, has her belief in love tested. She is forced to discover how far she will go to believe what she wants to believe, rather than the truth that is becoming more and more clear. TWEETY surreptitiously discovers an "I love you" message from another woman on JR's voice mail, her boyfriend of five years. She then begins to question the entire relationship and wonder what, if anything, was true in their five years together.
